Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician at our East Alton, IL location. This full-time, on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a fast-growing MRO.

You will perform mechanical tasks, panel removals, troubleshooting, and maintenance on aircraft and related systems. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid license (Airframe or Powerplant preferred), and 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in aviation maintenance or similar.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/ component issues.
• Operation of ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate effectively in English.
