Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks a Challenger Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. You will perform mechanical tasks, panel removals, troubleshooting, engine work, and inspections on civilian aircraft, working under supervision while adhering to FAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license ideal, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
• De-fueling aircraft.
• Engine removal/installations.
• Operating ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing.
