Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Perryville, MO. The role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with a focus on inspection, removal and installation of components, and documentation in maintenance data bases.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2-4 years for AMT II; 4-6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV (Master).

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components; troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• Inspect, evaluate, and assist in aircraft movement and performance runs.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling; navigate maintenance data bases.
