West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Perryville, MO to perform mechanical tasks, install/remove panels, troubleshoot systems, and assist with engine work and ground operations.

The role requires FAA-aligned maintenance knowledge, a relevant license (Airframe/Powerplant), and 0–6+ years of aviation experience across AMT levels. The position offers a full-time, on-site schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required; a valid driver’s license or passport is ideal but not mandatory.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license is preferred for AMT I and II.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2–4 years for AMT II; 4–6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV.
• Candidates must be capable of working under supervision with attention to FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components; troubleshoot aircraft systems.
• De-fuel aircraft; conduct engine removal/installation; operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist with taxiing and performance runs.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling; use electronic maintenance databases; communicate in English.
