Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Perryville, MO is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to perform mechanical work, troubleshoot electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and inspect aircraft components.

You’ll replace or repair parts, remove/install panels, and operate ground support equipment in a busy hangar environment. A high school diploma and appropriate licenses are required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe preferred for AMT I.
• Valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or passport is ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components; troubleshoot system issues.
• Defuel and perform engine removal/installations; operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist with taxiing and performance runs.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules; communicate effectively in English.
