West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the Chattanooga, TN location. The role covers hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and component work on sophisticated civilian aircraft.

The 2nd shift offers time until 1am with a 10%–15% premium, paid lunch, and weekend formatting bonuses. The technician will perform mechanical tasks, remove/install panels, and troubleshoot systems, while using electronic training and maintenance databases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience depending on AMT level.

Responsabilités

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system issues.
• Engine removal/installation and related maintenance.
• Operate ground support equipment and inspect aircraft.
• Maintain shop facilities and tools; navigate manuals and data bases.
• Communicate effectively in English.
