Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Upholstery Technician on 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. Responsibilities include repairing, refurbishing and reinstalling aircraft interior components, such as seats and panels, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role offers progression through Tech I–Master Tech levels, and requires attention to safety, FAA guidelines, and teamwork within a hangar environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of upholstery experience (Tech I)
• 2-4 years of upholstery experience (Tech II)
• 4-6 years of upholstery experience (Tech III)
• 6+ years of aviation upholstery experience (Master Tech)

Responsibilities

• Perform foam build ups, patterning and sewing of seat parts and upholstery items.
• Removal and installation of seats; disassembly and cleaning as needed.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Communicate effectively in English.
