Job summary

Allegiant Air seeks a Maintenance Team Leader to guide Technicians in daily aircraft maintenance tasks and to assume the role of Maintenance Supervisor in their absence. The role requires leadership, hands-on aviation maintenance, and adherence to FAA and company standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing logs, ensuring safe practices, coordinating with oncoming mechanics, and maintaining proper paperwork and certifications. A&P license and two years heavy line experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by law.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Certification: A & P license, ERT, AWR, SOJT-TtT required.
• Two years of aircraft heavy line maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians in daily maintenance duties and assume duties of Maintenance Supervisor when needed.
• Review logs for each RON or idle aircraft and check open write-ups and service checks.
• Ensure work is performed safely and per FAA requirements and company policy.
• Coordinate work and jobs with oncoming mechanics during shift changes.
• Ensure proper paperwork, tags and sign-offs, including parts removed from aircraft.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and provide on-the-job training.
