Joby Aviation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, ensure airworthiness, and coordinate hangar operations for a growing fleet. The role blends hands-on maintenance with people leadership in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a valid FAA A&P certificate, 5+ years of maintenance experience, and at least 1 year of leadership experience within aviation. Domestic travel and extended hours are required.

Competenze

• Must hold FAA A&P certificate and 5+ years of maintenance/inspection experience.
• 1+ year leadership or supervisory experience in aviation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Proficient with electronic tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Willing to travel domestically and work extended hours.
• Must have valid passport and English fluency.

Mansioni

• Manage and develop a team of aircraft maintenance technicians with guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain airworthiness of aircraft with scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and inspections per FAA procedures.
• Complete sign-offs and return-to-service documentation accurately.
• Coordinate daily maintenance operations and logistics with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Oversee aircraft modifications, installations, dissembles, and shipping activities.
• Conduct launch/recovery operations and ground support activities for fleet operations.
• Uphold safety, cleanliness, and showroom-quality hangar standards per procedures.
• Participate in ATPs and support domestic maintenance launches and other projects.
