Job summary

Airshare in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance for managed aircraft, ensuring FAA compliance, safety, and mission readiness. You will coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, track hours and cycles, maintain records, review invoices, and coordinate with vendors, OEMs and MROs; you will also support budgeting and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• FAA A&P license with 5 years of general aviation experience.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 91/135 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for assigned aircraft.
• Track maintenance requirements based on hours, cycles, and calendar intervals.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins.
• Maintain accurate aircraft records and logbooks.
• Coordinate maintenance events with vendors, OEMs, and MROs.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes; recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Review maintenance invoices and process warranty claims.
• Support maintenance budgeting and cost tracking.
• Perform or coordinate routine servicing and inspections as needed.
• Communicate maintenance status, downtime, and return-to-service timelines with internal teams and aircraft owners.
