Job summary

Jet Aviation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance and airworthiness of multiple business aircraft accounts. This office-based, hybrid role supports coordination rather than hands-on work from US locations including Teterboro, NJ.

You will manage inspections, records, budgets, and vendors while serving as the central link between clients, pilots and maintenance providers. A&P with 5+ years in aviation and FAA/IS-BAO knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• A&P certificate required.
• 5+ years aviation maintenance experience; 8+ preferred, incl. 3+ years in corporate aviation.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations, OSHA, and IS-BAO requirements.
• Experience with maintenance planning, inspections, repairs, modifications, records, and tracking.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities for assigned aircraft in accordance with company procedures and industry best practices.
• Plan scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with minimal disruption to flight schedules.
• Review airworthiness directives, service bulletins, maintenance records, and inspection requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, repairs, modifications, parts, vendors, quotes, and maintenance packages.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and support complex technical and operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate aircraft logbooks, permanent records, and maintenance tracking systems.
• Prepare and monitor maintenance budgets; review, code, and reconcile invoices.
• Keep clients, pilots, Flight Control, and maintenance leadership informed of aircraft status.
• Support aircraft during normal and after-hours maintenance requirements.
• Represent Jet Aviation with professionalism and demonstrate our values.
