Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Interior Upholstery Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3pm-1am). This role focuses on repair, refurbishment and installation of aircraft interior upholstery, including seats and panels, with daily tasks assigned by the Team Leader.

The position offers a 10%-15% shift premium, paid lunch, 3-day weekends, and strong training with opportunities to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years. Benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license ideal for airline travel or travel requirement.
• Able to read and follow technical instructions and manuals.
• Experience in upholstery in aviation or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, refurbish and reinstall interior upholstery on aircraft seats and panels.
• Remove and install seats; disassemble, clean and repair components.
• Follow work orders as assigned by Team Leader and project supervisor.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and comply with safety regulations.
