Placements24 is seeking an Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Technician to maintain and repair GSE such as tugs, loaders, GPUs, and de-icing equipment at Welkom. You’ll perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and safety checks to keep operations efficient and compliant with aviation standards.

The role requires strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and a valid driver's license with airport certifications in scope.

Qualifications

• Experience as a technician in heavy machinery, automotive, or aviation ground support equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain airport certifications.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing on GSE.
