Job summary

Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc is seeking a hands-on GSE Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair ground support equipment at our airport operations. You will work on tugs, GPUs, belt loaders, and related systems to keep daily flight activities running safely.

This role suits a practical mechanic who enjoys problem-solving and a fast-paced aviation setting, with on-site training and a 90-day probationary period. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical experience required (automotive, diesel, equipment, or similar).
• Willingness to learn and develop skills through hands-on training.
• Must provide own tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and service ground support equipment used in daily operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and manuals.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including tugs, belt loaders, GPUs, air start units, air conditioning units, and service carts.
• Conduct diagnostic testing to identify equipment functionality issues.
• Repair or replace defective components to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Build and assemble mechanical components and equipment as required.
• Clean, lubricate, and service machinery and equipment parts.
• Check and replenish fluids, filters, and other system components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete required GSE documentation.
• Provide guidance to operators on proper equipment use and preventative care.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
