Job summary

Metal Finishing Technologies, LLC is seeking a candidate to efficiently complete coating removal, grit blasting, and cleaning of aircraft engines. The position operates on the second shift: Monday - Thursday 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with FAA random drug screening as required.

A HS diploma with 1+ year related experience and strong English proficiency are needed. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean work environment, monitoring equipment, and ensuring parts meet work orders and customer

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent is required.
At least 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must speak/read/write English proficiently per FAA guidelines.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
Familiarity with substrate processing and stripping procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean working environment.
Monitor condition of equipment and recommend repairs/replacements as necessary.
Ensure parts are processed according to work orders.
Thoroughly clean aircraft engine parts including coating removal and grit blasting.
Bake work when required within customer requirements.
Perform tasks from a schedule/predefined priority list.
Comply with safety committee, EHS standards, and MFT policies.
Complete work orders, daily line logs (FAA), customer parts riders and related paperwork accurately.
Other duties as assigned.
