Job summary

TurbineAero is seeking a Coating Operator to operate automatic and manual coating furnace equipment within aerospace production processes. The role is full-time and located in Chandler, AZ.

The candidate will handle powder mixing, sifters, grit blast machines, and coating control panels, and will pack, load, and unload parts for coating runs. Responsibilities include starting and ending coating runs, demasking parts, and potentially supporting other production areas to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience involving similar equipment, processes, tools and machining operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Prior Aerospace industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate powder mixers, sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces and control panels.
• Pack parts into tooling and fill with coating powders.
• Load/unload and start/end coating runs in the coating furnace.
• Unload parts from tooling and demask masked parts.
• Assist in other departments as directed to maintain production flow.

Coating Operator - Aerospace Job Duties

• Equipment includes powder mixers, powder sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces, coating control panels.
• Performs packing of parts into tooling and filling with coating powders.
• Performs loading/unloading as well as starting/ending of coating runs in the coating furnace.
• Performs unloading of parts from tooling and demasking masked parts.
• At the discretion of the Shift Supervisor (Lead) the employee may be required to work in other departments to help maintain the flow of production to meet customer commitments.

Work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours.

Requirements

Coating Operator - Aerospace Job Requirements:

• The work environment: temperature, noise levels, inside or outside, or other factors that might affect the person’s working conditions while performing the job.
• The physical demands of the job include standing, bending, sitting, lifting, ability to lift 50lbs, and forklift driving.
• Coating furnace operations
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience involving similar equipment, processes, tools and machining operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Preferred Education and Experience:
• Prior Aerospace industry experience.
