Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic, ALSS (AME) to perform on- and off-aircraft maintenance on egress and environmental systems, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, and inspection with minimal supervision.

You will operate ground support equipment, support flight line operations, and maintain safety by proper FOD prevention, tool control, and documentation; travel to off-site detachments (min 10%) and obtain a DoD CAC within

Qualifications

Experience in ejection seat maintenance and component repairs.
Familiar with Navy technical publications and OOMA/NALCOMIS.
Qualified in removal/replacement of ejection seats, canopies, and explosive devices.

Responsibilities

Maintain assigned aircraft per procedures and safety standards.
Perform egress system maintenance for T-45 aircraft.
Inspect and replace seats, canopies, and explosive devices; rigging where required.
Maintain environmental control systems on aircraft.
Operate Ground Support Equipment and assist with aircraft movement.
Document maintenance actions in appropriate systems and forms.
Travel to off-site detachments (minimum 10% travel).
Obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card within 6 months.
