Job summary

V2X is seeking an experienced Aircraft Egress/Environmental Systems Technician for the Naval Test Wing Atlantic program in Patuxent River, MD. The role covers maintenance of ejection seats, canopy systems, OBOGS and environmental controls, with strict adherence to Navy and manufacturer guidelines.

You will handle scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, participate in safety walks, and ensure compliance with technical orders and publications, while coordinating with maintenance teams on a busy flight

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a military or factory equivalent ejection seat course of instruction.
• Experience with fitting and rigging of canopy/seat mechanisms on aircraft.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains assigned aircraft per Navy, manufacturer and company instructions.
• Removes/installs ejection seats; inspects seat harnesses.
• Maintains environmental and canopy systems on assigned aircraft.
• Operates ground support equipment and flight line operations safely.
