Aircraft Component Repair Technician I in GAC St. Louis
The selected candidate will primarily overhaul aircraft wheels and brakes. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift objects over 50 lbs, and pass a respirator physical exam. The position starts on 1st shift temporarily, then moves to 2nd shift (weekday evenings) after training.
Compensation range: $24.75 - $28.88 per hour.
Final compensation depends on qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

High School Diploma or GED required. Basic understanding of shop math required. Experience in sheetmetal (production or fabrication) and/or hydraulic overhaul is preferred. Basic electrical theory and wiring knowledge is also preferred.
Position Purpose: Under close supervision, repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components according to Gulfstream Repair Station standards.
