Aircraft Component Repair Technician I in GAC St. Louis
The selected candidate for this position will primarily overhaul aircraft wheels and brakes. The candidate must be able to stand for long periods, lift objects over 50 lbs, and pass a physical exam for a respirator. This position will start on the 1st shift temporarily, then move to the 2nd shift (weekday evenings) once trained.
The compensation range for this role is $24.75 - $28.88 per hour.
Final compensation will be determined by factors including but not limited to qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and a basic understanding of shop math. Preferred experience includes sheet metal work (production or fabrication), hydraulic overhaul, and electrical theory and wiring.
Position Purpose: Under close supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies, and components according to Gulfstream Repair Station standards.
