Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic-Avionics in Fallon, NV to perform maintenance, inspection and troubleshooting on aircraft and avionics systems. You will apply advanced technical knowledge and support guidance to other technicians as needed.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex avionics, reading blueprints and TDs, and ensuring safe operation in various environments. A strong background in aircraft systems and corrosion prevention is preferred; requires up to date qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required qualifications and clearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to work all shifts and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, repair and troubleshooting on aircraft and avionics systems.
• Test and troubleshoot complex avionics/electrical systems and subsystems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, TDs, tech pubs and safety manuals.
• Operate in hangar/shop/flight line environments with physical activity.
• May lift up to 70 pounds and work in high-noise areas.
