Job summary

Amentum in Fallon, NV is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic-Aviation Life Support Services (PR) to perform organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance on aircraft, components and survival equipment. You will inspect, repair and troubleshoot per IETMS and manuals, applying specialized technical knowledge to support mission readiness.

The position requires a PR A School or USAF equivalent, 3 years of relevant experience, corrosion knowledge, and the ability to obtain a US Secret

Qualifications

• PR A School graduate or USAF equivalent as required.
• Minimum of three years within the last five years practical experience at organizational/intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Perform organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance on aircraft, components and equipment.
• Inspect, repair, modify and troubleshoot using IETMS, Maintenance Instruction Manuals and company directives.
• Install and remove cartridge actuated and propulsion actuated devices.
• Pack, unpack, preserve and maintain parachutes and survival kits.
• Briefs and debriefs aircrew on survival equipment use and condition.
