Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Production Technician to support composites or assembly for aircraft production. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts, with emphasis on flexibility and willingness to learn new skills across disciplines.

You will work with a variety of components, follow detailed build instructions, document issues, and maintain a clean workstation. The role requires safety adherence, including respirator use, and a readiness to adapt to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years related experience, education and/or training required.
• Experience in medium/low volume manufacturing, automotive, military aircraft, or related fields considered partially relevant.

Responsibilities

• Install components for fit, alignment, and performance within design requirements.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues and develop solutions.
• Conduct on-the-job training with Technicians.
• Inspect, build and install aircraft components.
• Understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document defects on non-conforming articles or parts.
• Set up fixtures for bonding, drilling, and assembly.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts with appropriate tools.
• Route wires, cables and tubing; torque hardware.
• Follow build instructions and wear PPE including respirator.
