Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. in Duluth is seeking a Production Technician for composites or assembly. You will work with a range of hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to build aircraft components, learning disciplines within a supportive team environment.

The role requires basic tools knowledge, blueprint reading, and a willingness to learn new skills. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience are expected, with strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one-year related experience, education and/or training required.
• Experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn one discipline within assembly within three months.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure parts fit, clearance and alignment per design requirements.
• Set up and use bonding, drilling and holding fixtures.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts with appropriate tools.
• Route wires, cables and tubing.
• Torque hardware and fittings using tools and test equipment.
• Follow and document aircraft build instructions.
• Wear PPE including respirator.
• Mix and apply adhesives, resins and sealants as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
