How to thrive in this role?
  • Experience in the aviation industry required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and comprehend English
  • Proficiency with pneumatic tools, electrical bonding equipment, measuring devices, and torquing equipment
  • Ability to use tools such as scales, gages, calipers, micrometers, and calibration tools
  • Skill in operating drilling devices and setting up countersinks
  • Capability to drill accurate holes and maintain specifications
  • Experience installing various fasteners and understanding fastener types
  • Ability to use finishing materials like alodine, touch-up paint, and topcoat
  • Familiarity with shop floor operating systems, drawings, blueprints, and basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of sealing processes including fay surface, fillet, pack, aero, brush coat, and dome sealing
