Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Casual Air Traffic Control Instructor-II for the Peoria ATCT (PIA) in Peoria, IL. The role supports FAA training services and involves hands-on delivery of classroom and simulation training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years FAA CPC experience, US citizenship, and CPC certification with the ability to obtain Instructor-II simulation and classroom certifications.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent contract instructor experience at an FAA facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation-based training to a diverse student body.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) where applicable.
• Assist in curriculum design and development; obtain FAA simulator and classroom certifications as needed.
