Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to install, service, diagnose, and repair air compressors and related equipment in the Toledo area. The role emphasizes safety, customer relationships, and continuous learning.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance while keeping detailed reports and maintaining your vehicle and tools. A high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and multi-craft skills preferred.
• Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to complete service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify and sell repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance.
• Keep your service vehicle stocked with tools and parts.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build strong customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision to keep operations moving.
• Be flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
