Job summary

Synergy3 Home Solutions is hiring an Air Sealing & Insulation Technician in Edison, NJ. The role focuses on hands-on weatherization, air sealing tightly, insulating cleanly, and validating results with blower door tests.

You will work day-to-day in the field, own your work to standard, and help mentor newer technicians as you grow with us. A valid NJ driver’s license and a strong craft ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in air sealing, insulation, weatherization, or building performance work.
• Proficiency with blower door testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of air sealing, blow-in/dense-pack insulation methods, and home energy efficiency principles.
• Takes pride in craft and ownership of work.
• Valid NJ driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, organized, and capable with digital documentation (photos, readings, logs).

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on air sealing and insulation work, including blow-in and dense-pack insulation, air sealing, and weatherization.
• Run blower door tests and diagnostics to verify your own air-sealing results before and after work.
• Participate in daily on-site activities, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and the daily plan.
