Job summary

Odysseys Unlimited, based in Newton, MA, seeks an Air Operations Specialist to manage and operate the air component for multiple tour programs. You will independently plan flight itineraries, handle e-ticketing, and coordinate with airline partners to meet financial goals while ensuring exceptional guest service.

The role requires 5+ years of airline GDS experience, with Amadeus GDS proficiency and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of airline GDS experience required.
• Amadeus GDS experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of fare filings, airline ticketing, exchanges.
• ARC processing and TRAMS experience preferred.
• Excellent planning, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage flight itineraries and e-ticketing for assigned tours.
• Process departure and guest tasks in the Guest Management System (GMS).
• Manage space updates and cancellations with airline groups.
• Coordinate airport hotels and transit lounge reservations.
• Provide GDS support to Air Operations team members.
• Support Guest Services, Worldwide and Special Interest Groups.
• Assist Product Development with tour costing.
• Monitor flights and respond to service disruptions, after hours if needed.
• Take on additional projects as required.
