Air Methods seeks an exceptional pilot to join our team in Las Cruces, NM, flying IFR routes to transport medical crews and patients. You will ensure airworthiness, follow FAR/AIM/GOM guidelines, and uphold safety standards in a high-performing culture.

Requirements include 2500 total flight hours, 2000 in category, 1000 PIC, and IFR rating. The role offers 7-on/7-off 12-hour shifts and competitive steps based pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2500 total flight hours with 2000 in category.
• 1000 hours PIC in category; 500 cross-country hours; 50 at night; 500 turbine time.

Responsabilités

• Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally.
• Complete pre-flight checks and daily flight log sign-offs.
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness and medical interior familiarity.
• Conduct detailed flight planning with minimal notice.
• Participate in meetings, projects, and community outreach.
