Air Methods is seeking pilots for the PC12 (IFR) program in Carlsbad, NM. The role offers a $60,000 base stipend plus off-duty housing and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Work-life balance features a 7 days on/7 days off (12-hour shifts) schedule, with aerial EMS responsibilities and strict safety standards. Minimum qualifications include 2–5 years of related experience, 2500 total flight hours with 2000 in category, ATP/IFR credentials, and related FAA certifications.

Formación

• Total flight hours: 2500 with 2000 in category.
• 1000 hours PIC in category.
• 500 hours cross-country, 50+ at night.
• 500 hours turbine time.
• 100 hours night flight time.
• 100 hours actual instrument time in category.

Responsabilidades

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Completes pre-flight checks and sign-off of Daily Flight Log before every flight.
• Has final authority for aircraft operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Familiar with medical interior and systems of backup aircraft; ensure medical flight team is informed.
• Completes required documentation and conducts detailed flight planning on short notice.
• Participates in meetings, projects, committees and community outreach.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
