Job summary

Pilot Assessments seeks a qualified pilot-in-command for fixed-wing medical missions based at the Las Cruces, NM area. You will operate PC-12 aircraft under IFR, ensuring safety, legality, and on-time execution of air-medical flights.

Responsibilities include thorough preflight checks, precise flight planning, and maintaining proficiency with aircraft and medical interior systems to support the medical team. Relocation and growth opportunities noted.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Flown in the category within the last 24 months and weight limit <= 250 lbs.
• 2,500 total hours and 2,000 in category; PIC: 1,000 hours in category.
• Instrument rating for applicable category and class; ATP may satisfy.
• Fixed-wing multiengine rating; Commercial SEL qualification; FAA medical.

Responsibilities

• Operate PC-12 under IFR and in compliance with FAA regs and SOPs.
• Retain final operational authority for safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
• Conduct preflight inspections, sign Daily Flight Log, and perform full walk-arounds.
• Perform detailed flight planning with short notice and precise standards.
• Maintain familiarity with aircraft and onboard medical systems for the medical team.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
• Participate in meetings, projects, committees, and community outreach.
