Job summary

Air Methods, a leading air medical provider in Englewood, CO, seeks pilots to join our safety‑driven team. The role requires comprehensive flight operations knowledge, IFR experience and adherence to FAR/AIM/GOM guidelines. The position offers structured pay steps and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two to five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Maintenance of weight under 250 pounds and age under 70 as part of safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner
• Completes pre-flight checks including Daily Flight Log and sign-off
• Final authority on aircraft operations and safety of passengers, cargo and equipment
• Familiar with aircraft and medical systems and communicates with medical interior and systems
• Complete required documentation and conduct detailed flight planning
• Participate in meetings, projects, committees and community outreach
• Performs other duties as assigned
