Job summary

Air Methods Corporation is seeking experienced pilots to operate aircraft safely and within regulatory requirements. You will conduct thorough pre-flight checks, maintain final authority over operations, and ensure documentation and flight planning are completed accurately.

The role requires substantial flight hours in the appropriate category, IFR proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with EMS teams and hospitals while maintaining safety and efficiency in a 7-on/7-off,

Qualifications

• 2500 total flight hours with minimum of 2000 flight hours in category.
• 1000 hours PIC in category.
• 500 hours of cross-country flight time, at least 50 hours at night
• 500 hours of turbine time
• 100 hours night flight time
• 100 hours of flight in actual instrument conditions in category

Responsibilities

• Operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
• Complete pre-flight checks before every flight and sign off Daily Flight Log.
• Maintain final authority regarding aircraft operations and safety of passengers and cargo.
• Complete required documentation and flight planning with little notice.
