Job summary

InDepth Engineering Solutions, LLC is seeking a Design Release Engineer for air intake systems in Auburn Hills. The role involves leading supplier coordination, CAD/CAE activities, prototyping and testing to meet engine and vehicle objectives, with documentation of progress and milestones.

Responsibilities include supporting DFMEA/DVP&R, providing occasional onsite plant support, and contributing to quality improvements, process validation and cost reduction after launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Must be able to lead and manage Suppliers.
• Must be able to manage multiple concurrent activities.
• A valid driver’s license is required with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CAD design, CAE, prototyping and physical testing.
• Document activities and track supplier progress to milestones.
• Support DFMEA and DVP&R to minimize risk.
• Occasional onsite support at engine/vehicle assembly plants.
• Support quality concerns, process validation and cost reduction after launch.
