Job summary

Tata Technologies in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Design Release Engineer for HVAC refrigerant loop design. You will develop and validate HVAC components, ensuring performance targets are met while coordinating with powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and supplier teams.

Responsibilities include managing source packages, specs and DFMEA/DVP&R, performing CFD/FEA analyses, and supporting pilot builds to advance AC lines and compressors through development to production.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 3+ years in HVAC compressor or A/C line design/development.
• Hands-on experience with Unigraphics NX and CATIA.
• DFMEA and DVP&R methodology proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate HVAC compressor and A/C lines to meet performance objectives.
• Coordinate with powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers.
• Maintain DVP&R and analyze bench testing, simulations, and test results.
• Lead virtual CFD/FEA studies to ensure design meets requirements.
