Expeditors, a global logistics company headquartered in Seattle, is seeking an Air Import coordinator to ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information while delivering exceptional customer service within the Air Import department.

You will handle data entry, track and trace Air Import files, monitor in-transit delays, and coordinate with brokers for customs. Join a team that values professionalism and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly for positive results.
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• College Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Import department.
• Smooth and timely freight flow.
• Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
• Track and trace Air Import files as required.
• Daily monitoring of in-transit delays & update of event codes.
• Timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
• Ensure documents are timely sent to outside brokers for customs purposes.
• Always meet compliance with regulations (OPS and external requirements).
• Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external).
