Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Air imports or combination of education and expertise.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
  • Knowledge of US customs laws, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Track cargo arrivals via web with origin and warehouse.
  • Receive customer transmissions and forward to warehouses before flight arrival.
  • Report missing documents or packages to customer service and origin.
  • Enter and forward transmissions to generate operations.
  • Generate notice of arrival and dispatch to warehouse.
  • Generate invoices for freight and handling upon cargo arrival.
  • Coordinate document delivery to customers by courier.
  • Issue insurance per customer service instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with customs transmissions as regulated.
  • Notify clients of cargo arrival promptly.
  • Daily track pending flights and report delays.
