Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a dedicated coordinator in Miami to manage import shipment movements, serving as the primary liaison between customers, customs brokers, and carriers. You will handle freight documentation, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely delivery while upholding compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to generate complex, error-free charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of import shipments and act as the main contact between customers, brokers, and carriers.
• Receive freight, documentation, and billing information and respond to inquiries.
• Negotiate with domestic and foreign customers to resolve issues and reach agreements.
• Review invoices and shipping documents for tariff and regulatory compliance.
• Notify consignees of delays and provide proof of delivery as requested.
• Communicate with foreign companies and interpret currency conversions.
