Job summary

Kearney & Company seeks a Senior Consultant to join our team as the Strategic Advisor for the Air Force PBES. The role involves providing subject-matter expertise, governance oversight, and enterprise integration across DoD resource processes, supporting SAF/FM and AF/A8 with strategic advisory services.

The candidate will coordinate with multiple Air Force organizations to ensure timely PBES activities, develop executive briefs, and lead training and change management initiatives to modernize

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of DAF budget, PPBE, or financial management experience with PBES.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives and organizational change management.
• Strong governance and decision-support capabilities; ability to brief senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior Air Force PBES SME supporting SAF/FM and AF/A8 on planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Coordinate with Headquarters Air Force and other stakeholders to ensure timely PBES activities.
• Provide strategic oversight of enterprise PBES processes and enhance efficiency and transparency.
• Develop executive-level briefing materials and decision papers for senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across financial, programming, manpower, logistics, and operations.
