Job summary

Leidos is seeking a data-driven professional for a remote role based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. You will quantify impacts of energy initiatives, establish KPIs, and build dashboards for aviation energy data.

Required are advanced data analysis skills, Python/PySpark, SQL, and a DoD Secret clearance. Travel is possible as needed. You will collaborate with the Operational Energy team to deliver rigorous analytics, scalable data architectures, and actionable recommendations for energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field with strong data analysis.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, analytics, and governance tools.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Operational Energy team to quantify impact using statistical analysis, data wrangling, and predictive ML models.
• Establish KPIs to track and evaluate project effectiveness.
• Design, build, and maintain BI dashboards focusing on fuel consumption and aviation energy data.
• Define and evaluate aviation energy metrics to identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Acquire and validate aviation data and conduct quantitative analyses to recommend energy-efficiency solutions.
• Maintain proactive communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
