Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Computer User Support Specialist to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB. The role supports the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, configure accounts and email, patch security, and work in a Windows AD environment as part of a dedicated IT support team, with a focus on safeguarding national security and mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.
At least 2 years of direct/related experience.
Active / valid DoD 8140 IAT-II certification.
Experience in a Windows AD IT support environment.
Experience working within an IT support team.

Responsibilities

Analytical techniques and procedures in support of clients, systems, and networks.
Identify, prioritize, and resolve reported issues, including configuring email.
Field user calls, determine support level, and escalate as needed (Tier 2/3).
Troubleshoot account management, enterprise resources application, server administration, networking, and application issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and communications issues for workstation systems.
Perform security patching, document corrective actions, collect system audits, and monitor systems and networks.
Install and test hardware and software.
