MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB. The successful candidate will act as a systems administrator for the Partner Support Complex, providing technical support to classified networks and operational personnel.

Requirements include DoD 8570 IAT II, 6+ years of related experience, and hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Hyper-V, VMware, and security tools.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 2 years of experience may substitute.
• 6+ years of direct/related experience in system administration.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT II or higher.
• Strong hands-on with Windows Server, Linux, Hyper-V/VMware.

Responsabilidades

• Determine hardware, software, and system configuration requirements.
• Patch, fix, and keep assigned systems compliant.
• Plan, install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft Hyper-V and servers.
• Provide user support for accounts, apps, desktops, and peripherals.
• Coordinate with ISSO for data transfers and media creation.

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.

The successful candidate will act as a systems Administrator for the Partner Support Complex. This position provides technical support to support classified networks and associated operational personnel.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Determining hardware, software, and systems specifications, and configuration requirements.
• Execution of the patching, fixing, and making all assigned systems compliant.
• Planning, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Hyper V, Microsoft Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, client products across multiple networks, and network storage.
• Provide support to users in the areas of account management, enterprise applications, desktop applications, and peripherals.
• May work closely with the ISSO for data transfers and media creation.
• Facilitate and coordinate user account creation and modification.
• Manage user support and coordinate with back shop administrators when additional assistance is required.
• Perform other hardware and software tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• At least 6 years of direct/related experience
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level II or higher
• Working technical competency in one or more of the following supported platforms: Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, MS Hyper-V/VMWare/ESx/Xen Hypervisors, Enterprise networking/firewalls/intrusion detection/prevention systems, forensic analysis/vulnerability assessment, Group Policy management and configuration.

Clearance Requirement

• Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Must obtain SCI prior to starting
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
• Willingness to submit to a Polygraph if required

Physical Requirements

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.”"
