Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB. The ISSE will support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract.

Responsibilities include designing security architectures across cloud environments, supporting ATO and RMF processes, and performing risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.

Qualifications

• 6 months of direct/related experience in information security.
• Associate's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple Cloud hosting environments, to include those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Validate and verify security requirements, establish security designs, and develop security architectures.
• Support ATO accreditation with analyzing security scans, organizational policies, and perform continuous monitoring
• Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Perform/support or review security assessments to identify IA vulnerabilities or non-compliances and recommend mitigations.
• Recommend cybersecurity-enabled products to implement security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation.
• Work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment
• Review, provide feedback, and help update/maintain SSP documentation.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF.

Clearance Requirements

• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicating with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
