Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Officer to support strategic facilities planning, programming, and acquisition activities for the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing. This role drives long‑range planning for ISR facilities worldwide and ensures projects are properly scoped, funded, and executed to Air Force standards.

The incumbent will develop programming documentation, monitor cost/schedule/performance, and deliver status updates and briefings to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 4–6 years of experience in Facilities Management, Planning & Programming, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Air Force Planning & Programming methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and drive projects to completion.
• Experience with facility project management and budget execution.
• Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions on assigned projects.
• Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Facilities planning — conduct long‑ and short‑term strategic planning for Wing facilities worldwide.
• Project programming — develop DD1391s, cost estimates, Statements of Work, and other artifacts.
• Funding mechanisms — identify Air Force and DoD funding pathways for facility projects.
• Stakeholder coordination — collaborate with host installation facility managers and mission partners.
• Project oversight — support PMs in requirements capture, cost/schedule/performance tracking.
• Quality assurance — ensure deliverables comply with Air Force standards and Wing expectations.
• Leadership communication — prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and status updates to leadership.
