Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Officer to support strategic facilities planning, programming, and acquisition activities for the 363d Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing. This role drives long-range planning for ISR facilities worldwide, ensuring infrastructure projects are properly scoped, funded, and executed to Air Force standards and mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 4-6 years of experience in Facilities Management, Planning & Programming, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of Air Force Planning & Programming methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and drive projects to completion.
• Experience with facility project management and budget execution.
• Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions on assigned projects.
• Current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Facilities planning - Conduct longterm and shortterm strategic planning for Wing facilities across global locations.
• Project programming - Develop DD1391s, cost estimates, Statements of Work, and other programming artifacts to support funding advocacy and project execution.
• Funding mechanisms - Identify appropriate Air Force and DoD funding pathways for facility projects.
• Stakeholder coordination - Collaborate with hostinstallation facility managers and mission partners.
• Project oversight - Support PMs in requirements capture, cost/schedule/performance tracking, and acquisition documentation.
• Quality assurance - Submit deliverables and ensure compliance with Air Force standards and Wing expectations.
• Leadership communication - Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and status updates to leadership.
