Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a freight forwarding associate to provide premier customer service and manage shipment processing, ensuring timely movement of freight. You will coordinate with agents, clients, and internal teams to prepare documentation, resolve issues, and track shipments.

The role requires at least one year in logistics, strong computer skills, and knowledge of air export regulations and DOT requirements. Onsite Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding or logistics required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and ensure a high level of customer service by developing and maintaining a strong relationship with customers' front line personnel in the various operating divisions and subsidiaries.
• Prepare, analyze, and/or submit documentation to agents and clients to ensure compliance with laws relating to transportation.
• Anticipate, identify and resolve problems which could delay movement of freight.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, service providers to exceed service requirements.
• Resolve billing issues and ensure invoicing is accurate.
