Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join the Air Dominance Site Reliability Engineering team in Berkeley, MO. The role provides hands-on ownership of GitLab, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL, and related tools to drive reliability improvements and automate operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining IaC and Ansible apps, executing changes, incident response, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• 2+ years of experience with software development and/or troubleshooting software.
• 2+ years of experience with Git-based source control workflows.
• 2+ years of experience developing software in a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain GitLab, Jira, Confluence, PostgreSQL and related tooling infrastructure.
• Support tool administration, version upgrades, patch management, and integrations between Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube.
• Develop and maintain automated infrastructure and IaC; create and run automation scripts.
• Plan and execute changes, perform security patches, and manage backups.
• Monitor platform reliability, incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
