Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to lead the Air-Cooled Chiller Value Stream at the Charlotte manufacturing facility.

You will own end-to-end manufacturing execution, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic operational plans. You will lead a high‑performing team of supervisors and hourly staff, drive continuous improvement, and shape the future operations with Lean methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years of manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, or supply chain leadership experience.
3+ years leading leaders in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the operational strategy for the Air-Cooled Value Stream.
Own the value stream P&L performance through labor, productivity, quality, inventory, and costs.
Lead annual operating plans, capacity planning, headcount planning, and capital investment initiatives.
Translate business priorities into measurable objectives and ensure execution.
Lead multiple manufacturing lines to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and Lean practices.
Lead recovery plans during disruptions while maintaining customer commitments.
