Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC in Bay Minette, Alabama is seeking an Air Compressor Technical Support Specialist to provide expert technical assistance on Quincy rotary and reciprocating products. You will support field service technicians, distributors, and end users in maintenance, service, and training.

Qualifications

• High School degree required; mechanical or civil engineering degree preferred.
• 2 years' experience in a relevant role.
• Knowledge of compressed air products and services.
• Excellent phone, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• CAD experience preferred.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 40%).

Responsibilities

• Support Field Service Technicians, distributor network and end users with technical information.
• Update knowledge on new products or modifications and warranty policies.
• Maintain Technical Service Department documentation.
• Provide daily reports of field problems by phone and email.
• Provide training to Service Technicians and distributors on product service and repair.
• Provide training for internal and distribution.
• Administer remote monitoring platform ICONS.
• Accompany service technicians to customer sites for air audits.
• Compile data and construct reports timely.
• Handle Industrial Air Piping design and modifications.
• Perform Quality Air Auditing.
• Perform Compressor Power Consumption Audits.
• Troubleshoot networking and connectivity of compressed air equipment.
